Bell’O WAVS-341 Bent Wood Doorless TV Cabinet

We’re taking a departure here from our regular reviews of TV cabinets with doors because the Bell’O WAVS-341 is just so stylish we couldn’t not review it. It starts off with a beautifully dark espresso wood finish and that’s just the beginning. As soon as you see it you’ll realize this is no ordinarily plain TV cabinet. The styling of the Bell’O doorless TV cabinet is very retro futuristic and will never really go out of style. It uses attractive rounded curves instead of boring straight edges to give it a very chic design. What’s even more spectacular is it’s made of bent wood to get this effect. The open design lets you see all your home theater devices but a cable management system lets you hide your ugly wires in the back. It can hold up to a 56″ flat panel TV and up to four A/V devices or speakers. The open design not only looks great, it’s functional too as it allows better air flow circulation so your expensive electronics don’t overheat, thus extending their use. If you can’t stand another plain TV cabinet, then you should definitely consider the Bell’O WAVS-341. The construction is solid, though the more complex styling may require two or more people to assemble. The wood is decorated with a beautiful “Bell’O” emblem to show off the pride and quality of the Italian design. There really isn’t anything else on the market that you can buy with this much style without adding at least another zero to the unit price (we’ve even reviewed some of them here).

Bottom line: If you’re the person who likes your furniture to double as artwork in your home on a budget, then get the Bell’O WAVS-341 bent wood doorless TV cabinet.

TV Cabinets with Doors Reviewed

Televisions today vary widely in size, color, and shape so there are TV cabinets with doors to suit just about every TV on the market. Gone are the days (remember when we used CRT displays?) when TVs that came pre-built into cabinets were popular. Today, consumers just want things simple: buy a TV, buy a TV stand or wall mount. Mounting a TV on your wall, while may seem like a great option, has some drawbacks. First of all, you need to get it professionally installed otherwise if the mount isn’t supported well your TV could easily fall off after its mounted, damaging your home AND your TV in the process. It also prevents you from moving the TV in the future, with an ugly wall mount to look at. TV cabinets, on the other hand, don’t require professionals to come to your home and can be placed anywhere. Even with a TV mount, many people have no place to put their cable boxes or DVD players, so it simply becomes an added expense. TV cabinets are almost required anywhere there is a TV.

With so many choices available, we’ve narrowed down the focus to our top picks which we have carefully categorized to suit different needs and budgets. TV cabinets with doors are more attractive than open cabinets as you can hide away mismatching electronics and keep out dust at the same time. Cabinets with doors also hide ugly wires away. There are many configurations of cabinets like the traditional stand-alone to the corner TV cabinet. There are also multiple door options. Longer TV cabinets tend to have more doors and shorter ones may have just one. There are many colors and finishes to suit any home decor to match the television at the same time.

Please take the time to read through our TV cabinet recommendations so you can make the best decision for yourself what type of cabinet suits your needs the best. Our review guide of TV cabinets with doors is the only one on the web and will hopefully be a valuable resource for you as you do your research online.
